R&B singer Alesha Dixon is apperently mad at her label Asylum Records. After the company signed her last year with a 3 album deal, Alesha made it pretty clear she wanted to call the shots as previous label Poldor had messed her around so much. She wanted full control over single releases, release dates and album & single artwork. Whilst Alesha decided on her first two releases, The Boy Does Nothing and Breathe Slow both charted very well inside the top 10, Asylum didn’t want to chance Alesha’s third single, whilst she wanted Hand It Over the label decided on Let’s Get Excited. As it happens the label’s decision ended with the track bombing reaching at a low 12. Now sources very close to Alesha are saying she is real real mad giving one of the main label bosses at Asylum a screaming phone call refusing to record any other music video apart from Hand It Over and warning them she will walk from the deal.

Dammmmmmmmmmmmmmn, to be honest I think Alesha is right on this issue, Let’s Get Excited was shit and this was proven by the chart position. She had lots of promo so it should have done better…

Is it me, or is Mel B shrinking more and more every month with every appearance she does. Pictured as the host of Hot Bodies At Tao Beach, Venetian hotel, she appears toned and “ripped”. Although many may think Mel looks great, I think she looks too extreme and would look nice with a bit of meat on her.  I mean look at them arms of hers…damn girl eat a pie or something. I think she looked perfect when she did those Ultimo photoshoots, but now she looks like a body builder.

Well its not that new, but I love this version of the Kelly Clarkon track “Since U Been Gone”.  I really do think Keri should record a full version and stick it as a bonus track on the album or even a b-side to one of her releases… Anyways check the video out:

Well…when I first heard of this check VV Brown, in all honesty I really wasn’t feeling her. I don’t like indie music but this track isn’t indie. Shark In The Water is her new track and after about 5 listens, I’m totally addicted.

Now, I’m late with this story, but am posting it because although I like Jamelia’s music, this story is so funny.

Jamelia attended The Princes Trust ceremony earlier this month in London, but when in front of photographers, she seemed to stand there too long and was asked kindly to “move on”. LOL!!
